TIMBER SEEDLINGS

CPS Seedlings belongs to a hybrid-clone consortium and collectively work towards high-quality and highest potential yields possible with the latest clonal forestry material.

Producing top-quality Eucalyptus clones and expanding in wattle clones. All species and varieties of commercially planted timber are grown from the best genetic seed available.

Our seedlings are grown to suit the customers planting schedule, season, climate and soil type.

GROWING MEDIUM

CPS Seedlings was one of the first commercial seedling nurseries to break away from the norm and go higher grade when it comes to growing mediums.

Currently working off over 10 different recipes, nothing will stop our over 130 years of combined management experience in putting together a prescription growing medium mix which is suited to your specific requirements.

VERMICULITE

Vermiculite is one of the most underrated growing mediums available.

CPS Seedlings uses a high percentage of vermiculite in their prescription mixes of growing mediums. It’s high water and nutrient retention capabilities only add to the fact that it is completely sterile of pathogens due to its processing temperature of over 700 degrees Celsius. This makes it perfect for bulking of growing medium and or capping of seeded trays.

CPS Seedlings has 35 years of experience in using and producing vermiculite and our very own onsite Vermiculite processing exfoliators enable us to produce and supply high quality vermiculite, specifically for the horticultural industry and at competitive rates.

Our fleet of trucks also make quick work of any size delivery to the bulk consumer country wide.

COIR

Growing medium for seedling production has in the past had some very big challengers. It took 8 years of researching sourcing and negotiating to find offshore suppliers that understand exactly the quality and grade of coir we were looking for.

Starting only for our own use, we have moved to now supplying the bulk consumers and currently supplying nearly 14 000 cubic meters of coir into the South African market.

Enquire about CPS Agri, all our coir products are traded through here where our customers have access to a seedling-specific coir and medium.

TRANSPORT

Our products are delivered country-wide with our very own reliable, satellite monitored and customized-built fleet of trucks and trailers.

These trucks and trailers hold one of the highest strengths to our company with having readily available trucks at any size to get to our customers on time, every time.

The CPS fleet is closely monitored with the best satellite tracking equipment to provide real-time updates on loading and delivery times, always ensuring the security of your goods.

Furthermore, our in-house maintenance team, and partnership with Hino boast a meticulous maintenance and service history, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Each truck undergoes thorough quality checks before departing our nurseries, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety and reliability.
